Primary Care Annual Reporting
Employer Wellness is a new and emerging business model in healthcare that provides primary care directly to businesses and organizations. The business required a comprehensive annual reporting package to assess their impact on their impact on the health and well-being of the employees they are contracted to provide care for.
For their annual reports, over 30 metrics were defined, standardized and automated across 5 clinics using the group’s electronic health record. The data was staged and housed in Snowflake. A Shiny application was developed to dynamically report metrics and to allow business owners access to the groupings and look-ups that drive descriptive statistics.
To promote transparency and business ownership, a comprehensive dictionary was integrated into the application. This feature allowed business owners to understand and enhance their own metric definitions at will.
